OPEN DAY 2009
SUNDAY 20th SEPTEMBER 12noon - 4pm.
Everyone Welcome, directions are on the contact page.

The Bullar Trees Line is my G Scale garden railway based in the small village of Lumb in Rossendale, Lancashire North West England UK.

The idea of starting a G Scale Garden Railway started back in August 2005 when having previously seen the G scale Garden Railway series on the Discovery Channel I decided it was time for a hobby - Paul (my other half) has a Jet Provost in the front garden (www.xm369.co.uk) so I have claimed the back garden. This i must say has changed some-what over 2007 as Paul has decided he prefers trains to his plane :)

I bought the LGB MTS starter Kit August 2005 but nothing really got started until late May 2006 due to the lousy winter and snow into the start of May. This did allow me to get much more track and accessories for Christmas though. Some track was bought from Ebay although I was careful as postage can put the cost over buying it online or at my local model shop Arcadia in Shaw, Oldham www.arcadiarail.co.uk. Accessories were also bought from www.gaugemaster.com. Since then we have dug, concreted, laid lots and lots of track and landscaped.

Bullar Trees, for anyone who is interested, is the name of the house where I live with my partner, Paul, and named after an unusual tree of the same name that we have two of in our garden.
